1 Payment & Pricing

Travel DRD uses transparent dual pricing. Guests who pay by cash pay the listed price; guests who pay by credit or debit card cover the card-processing fee at checkout. The fee is disclosed before payment is completed.

2 Refund Policy

• Refund requests are reviewed against the rental agreement and the condition of the property and any rented equipment.
• Approved refunds are processed back to the original payment method.
• The 4% per-transaction processing fee is non-waivable as it reflects third-party processor costs.

3 Cancellations

• 15+ days before check-in — full refund of all amounts paid, less the 4% per-transaction processing fee described in Section 2.
• Fewer than 15 days before check-in — cancellation timelines and any associated charges are set out in your specific booking confirmation.

The 15-day window applies to bookings made directly with Travel DRD. Bookings made through a third-party platform (Airbnb, Vrbo, or similar) follow that platform's cancellation policy. Any amount returned on a cancellation is processed as a refund and is therefore subject to the 4% per-transaction processing fee described above.

4 Security Deposit

• A refundable damage deposit (typically $750, or as stated for your booking) is required and is held — not charged — where supported. Waters Edge Lodge requires a $1,000 refundable damage deposit.
• Repair or replacement costs for damaged items are deducted from the security deposit; if costs exceed the deposit, the guest is billed for the difference.
• The deposit is fully refunded within 7 days if no damages or violations occur. Any deposit amount refunded to a card is subject to the 4% per-transaction processing fee.
• Normal wear and tear is expected and will not result in charges.

5 Damages & Liability

• Guests are financially responsible for any damage or loss occurring during their stay.
• Travel DRD reserves the right to charge fair-market replacement value for any destroyed, missing, or stolen items.
• Unpaid balances may be sent to collections and reported to credit bureaus.
• Intentional damage or negligence may result in additional penalties.
• Undeclared guests. If the booking guest does not declare any additional or occasional guests entering the property, the booking guest is responsible for those undeclared guests and for any incidents or damages involving them, unless they are properly declared and sign the required waiver.

6 Equipment & Toy Rentals

Rented equipment and recreational "toys" (including golf carts, boats, RVs, Jeeps, and similar) are covered by the same terms as the property rental, including the security-deposit, damage, and refund provisions above.

• Each rented item is inspected at check-in and check-out; damage or loss is deducted from the applicable deposit.
• A signed waiver is required for activities and equipment use; the main guest and each participating guest must sign as applicable.
• All refunds on equipment and toy rentals are subject to the same 4% per-transaction processing fee.

7 Identification

All guests 18 years or older must provide valid government-issued photo identification (driver's license, state ID, passport, or military ID). ID copies are securely stored and attached to your check-in documentation. Failure to provide required identification may result in denial of access to the property.

8 Mandatory Check-In & Activity Waiver

• The booking guest completes the check-in form for the reservation, including guest details and required identification.
• Each guest 18 or older must read and electronically sign the Activity & Liability Waiver in their own name — one signed waiver per adult guest.
• For any other adult in the party, the booking guest can enter that person's mobile number during check-in and we text them their own link to upload their photo ID and sign their own waiver.
• Additional and occasional guests must be declared. Anyone entering the property who is not on the check-in form, including day visitors, must be declared and must sign the required waiver. The booking guest acknowledges this at check-in, and the acknowledgment is printed on the signed check-in document.
• Access to the property, equipment, and any recreational "toys" (boats, golf carts, RVs, Jeeps, etc.) is contingent on the completed check-in form and all required adult waivers being on file.
• Failure to complete the check-in form or to provide a signed waiver for each adult guest may result in delayed access or cancellation without refund of non-recoverable fees.

9 Privacy & Data

Your information is used solely for verification and booking management — never sold, never shared with third parties, and never used for marketing without your explicit consent. Sensitive documents are subject to secure deletion protocols.

10 Acknowledgment

By completing check-in, signing the rental agreement and any waivers, and submitting payment, you acknowledge that you have read, understand, and agree to these Terms & Conditions in full — including the 4% per-transaction refund processing fee, the security-deposit terms, and the equipment & toy-rental provisions.
